County Navigation and Browse Pages Added

Azrested added a dedicated county browsing experience to make large record collections easier to navigate. Visitors can begin with a statewide search when the location is uncertain or move directly to a county page when they already know where a record may have originated.

Two useful paths into the records

The statewide and county views serve different purposes. Browse Arrests is useful when a person or booking detail is the strongest clue. The Counties directory is useful when location is the clearest starting point. Neither path changes the underlying records; they provide different ways to reach the same public information.

  • Statewide browsing keeps the search broad and allows a county to be selected as a filter.
  • The county directory shows the available Arizona county destinations in one place.
  • County pages provide a focused local view and a clear route back to wider browsing.

What appears on a county page

A county page can summarize the records currently associated with that county and surface recent available entries. It also carries navigation and explanatory context so a visitor is not left with an isolated list. Counts and recent dates describe the application???s current collection; they are not statements from the county itself.

The page title, description, and links are designed to remain readable on desktop and mobile screens. County cards use concise labels so names, record counts, dates, and calls to action stay visually separate instead of collapsing into one block of text.

Coverage is not uniform

County pages are discovery tools

They are not official county databases. A county with fewer visible records may have a different publishing schedule, source format, or current level of availability.

Arizona agencies control their own systems and decide what information they publish. As a result, fields and timing can vary. An empty or limited Azrested county view should not be used as proof that no booking or case information exists elsewhere.

Moving between local and statewide views

County navigation was built to avoid dead ends. A visitor can open a county hub, inspect an available record, return to the county view, or broaden the search from the main browsing page. Helpful routes remain available in the header and footer as well as within the page content.

How to use the new directory

Open the Arizona Counties directory when the location is known. Use Browse Arrests when the county is uncertain or when a name is the better clue. For current custody, court status, or official confirmation, follow up with the responsible county jail, sheriff, court, clerk, or agency.
