Arizona Public Records
Arizona law generally lets people inspect public records held by government offices. A.R.S. sections 39-121 through 39-121.03 cover this access. Some records can still be limited by another law, a court rule, a court order, or a privacy need.
What an Azrested Page Means
Azrested shows booking information from public sources. A booking page is not proof of guilt, a conviction, or the current result of a court case. It is also not legal advice.
When We Review a Page
We may review a page when someone sends clear proof that it is wrong or should be limited. Useful proof can include:
- A signed sealing order under A.R.S. section 13-911.
- A signed Arizona expungement order under A.R.S. section 36-2862, when that law applies.
- A court order about a record involving a minor.
- An agency correction.
- Proof that the page names the wrong person or shows wrong facts.
Sealed Records
Arizona sealing law applies to records held by criminal justice offices such as courts, prosecutors, police, and the Department of Public Safety. A copy shared before a sealing order may still exist. Send us the signed order so we can review the exact Azrested page.
Set Asides
A set aside under A.R.S. section 13-905 may show a later case result. It does not automatically require every old public record to be removed.
Arizona Expungement
Arizona expungement under A.R.S. section 36-2862 only covers certain marijuana offenses. It does not cover every criminal case. Send the signed order if your request uses this law.
No Automatic Removal
Dropped charges, a lower charge, a set aside, or a personal request do not automatically remove a page. We review the exact record and the proof sent with the request.
How to Ask for a Review
Use the record review form. Include the page link, details that identify the record, and any signed court order or agency correction. Ask an Arizona lawyer if you need legal advice.
